With a bit more than a day to go until the challenge closes, the submissions are getting in very quickly. Yesterday, we added Snowhite and Xmas by DarkStone, today we added Merii Kurisumasu and... Lumi 2. Lumi 2 is the third submission to this challenge created by Nyyrikki, who also submitted the first entry and Lumi. Now he comes with a new demo for MSX1 with 48kB memory and a diskdrive. However, a turboR with MSX-Audio is recommended. The demo was created in NestorBASIC and shows snow falling against a nice background. You can download Lumi 2 here, or have a look at the other entries here.

Once again, everyone can join the MRC Snowfall Challenge and win a nice prize. All you have to do is create a demo for MSX in which you see some snow falling. For this you can use any MSX configuration, from a MSX1 with 16kB RAM to a fully equipped MSX turboR GT. You don't have to worry about programming languages either, you can use any programming language you like. As long as the final result works on MSX. If you want more information (and see what you can win), check this newspost. Are you working on a Snowfall demo, but not sure if you will make it in time? Have you already finished a snowfall demo? Let us know by mailing to snowfall@msx.org. The challenge closes January 5th, 23:59 CET.

As a side note, NestorBASIC does not work in computers, that has less than 128KB memory, so in these computers XBASIC is used instead and FM-PAC / MSX-AUDIO music is disabled. There is also better graphics for MSX2 and up.
