MSX World 2005 - Stage schedule announced

The MSX World 2005 fair, which was announced a week ago is starting to get more and more shape. After the announcement of the first list of participants, there is now an overview of the lectures, presentations and symposiums to be held during the day:

  • 11:30 - 12:00 - A lecture from Kazuhiko Nishi on the advantages and disadvantages of the One Chip MSX1, the effect MSX had on the current generation of Personal Computers, Windows, Linux, Unix and the networking society, the future of computers (with regards to education) and the future of MSX. The 60 minute lecture will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A.
  • 13:00 - 13:45 - A symposium on the One Chip MSX1 and MSXPLAYer for Mobile Phones with representatives of MSX Association, ASCII Corporation, ASCII Hardware Solutions, Mediawave Corporation and Bazix on stage
  • 14:00 - 14:45 - A lecture on the challenges of Project EGG by Yuji Ueda of Gaiax and Naoto Suzuki of D4 Enterprise
  • 15:00 - 15:45 - Announcement of the winners of MSX Magazine 3's short BASIC programming contest
  • 16:00 - 16:45 - Another lecture or symposium, contents currently unknown

MSX World 2005 is organized by the MSX World 2005 commitee, who are sponsored by MSX Association, ASCII Corporation, Soft-City and Amusement Center. The MSX fair is furthermore supported by the JCGA (Japanese Computer Gaming Association), ASCII Corporation Hardware Solutions, Mediawave and Bazix.
