Treasure of Babylon

Two days ago French MSX user ericb59 surprised us with the announcement of a new MSX game on our forum. Treasure of Babylon is Eric's first MSX game after 30 years. The game runs on the MSX turbo R in screen 10 with beautiful graphics and supports MSX-MUSIC for the music. The game itself is a puzzle/strategy game, in which you are trapped inside the ancient city of Babylon and have to escape all the 25 levels by collecting all gems.

You can download a disk image with the game for free from Eric's website. There is also a preview/trailer video available, as well as a lot of screenshots, box art and explanation (in French) on his site.

Well I skipped a bit of my work yesterday to play through it completely, so... : ) Just sayin'. It's pretty addictive. I wish it kept going. : )

Dandan? Is he still composing for the MSX scene or are old musics?

The music at the trailer movie is quite aged but still a strong number from Dandan.

Sorry to bump this topic but I found this game because my music was used in it (Jer Der). Nice work of the author and of course I'm honoured that he picked my music together with the other legendary composers. On request he sent me his MSX music library with some other songs I made, amazing that they found their way to France.
