Just when the MSXdev'13 at the Karoshi forums is coming to a conclusion, the official page of the other running competition,#msxdev compo 2013, is updated with information from its competitors.

The first entry in this year edition is Arabic Land by Gamecast Entertainment, a name well-known for many first generation MSX games in various contests throughout the years. This time around the game is targeting MSX2 and will support MSX-MUSIC. Using a mix of Nestor BASIC and assembly, this project sounds promising and may prove to be a good example of the possibilities of this combination.

The #msxdev Compo is a MSX software competition in which all sorts of MSX software is allowed regardless of generation and where many common hardware expansions may be supported or required. If you want to get involved: Registration as a contestant is open until the 30th of November, and donations to the prize pot are always welcome.

Thanks for fast post of my submits, MRC Crew!

One small thing, I made a small typo: "will supporting MSX-music" obviously should be "will support" or "will be supporting". Sorry!

Also thank you Mars for spreading the news Wink

As ever, any efforts for new MSX games is welcome. But Andrea Gasparini should understand that even bad graphics are better than ripped graphics. Sad

While ripping, I would have taken the graphic from other platforms, from games never seen on msx, not from other msx games. The video reminds me same early Korean cracked chart ...
Anyway the game does not seem that bad, we will see.
