Ghosts 'n Goblins preview movie

As reported before Spanish MSX group ASM, that we know from their announced Graphics9000 game Losaben Akel, has also been experimenting with a remake of the classic Ghosts 'n Goblins game for Graphics9000.

On their blog they posted an update of this project. They haven't been procrastinating lately and made a lot of progress. Currently they have a working title screen and intro demo, and also a playable version of the first level with most of the work nearly finished. The biggest missing part are music and sound effects. The ASM blog also features a preview movie where you can track their current progress.

Very good graph of the game on stage 1!
Maybe this turns out to be modeP1 or modeB1-6.
I have already written three different source:
GBASIC, PowerBasic and Libraries Gfx9000, but I had
problems with the map of level 1 ... (Original snapshot to convert into 8x8 blocks as new Map) oO

NOTE: You can also turn on v995x, but only in the COPY mode screen 5, but we can not use this hardware SPRITE ....

On three parts to turn Ghost'nGoblins for v9958:
1/3) hardware scroll horizontally, but this is NOT NEED, to this, use COPY;
2/3) Sprite hardware, I use these as a weapon, bonus ... points and Lives !
3/3) Memory 128K VRAM, I make a swap VRAM / RAM in page 0, this may have other GFX, MAP.

But now I'm stuck this for other projects. Eek!

Very well done!!! Keep up the great work to bring this classic to MSX. Then the reference to it in Higemaru also makes more sense Tongue
