A new version of the emulator RedMSX has been released by SLotman. Now in sync with blueMSX 1.0.5 (but with different routines to load zip files), this version has other improvements: a great speed up and multiple screenshot support

Slotman... what OS do you run ??
Tested your binary under win98 r2 and win2000 prof.... both crashing when trying to start
the emu...( and what is that console doing there...? is this perhaps the debug version ?) hmm ...

Well i checked your source and tested it... seems that Optimizatons=max. speed is the bad guy.... setting this to default will stop crashing the emu.

Strange... I tested it both on win98 and on WinXP and had no problems at all...

Found out that DirectX9.0 and 9.0b give trouble when you try to stop -> start or reset the emu. Then i get a memory writing error. With DirectX8.0 there are no problems.
Optimizatons set to default is a possible work around at the moment.

Found out that the "Global Optimizations" causes memory writing problems in combination with DirectX9.... See Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 217033.

using "/Og-" so most optimizatons still can be used or installing the latest service pack will stop crashing while rebooting the emu... (Or don't use directx9 :( )
