cesco has developed a friendly frontend for Mac OS X 10.4 (and above) to use it with OpenMSX. These are some of its features:

  • Internal database that can identify immediately over 1,360 software titles, giving their real name, year of publication and publisher. Brief description and a small screenshot for more than 260 games
  • Manages ROM, disk and tape images in different subfolders. It can also keep MSX1, MSX2 and MSX2+ ROMs separately
  • Create your own lists with your favourite MSX games
  • Sort your files by name, publisher and year of publication
  • Allows you to choose different machine configurations for each category, just place the system ROMs into the proper openMSX subfolder
  • Works with OpenMSX 0.6.1 and 0.6.2
  • Universal binary

If you have any suggestions or comments on this OpenMSX frontend for Mac OS X, feel free to post them in this forum topic. There you can also find a link to download OpenMSX Peashooter.

Don't use the link in the forum post, as it's not working anymore.
Instead, download it from http://www.cescoware.com/
