According to the link site both. And that explains why this cartridge is easy to find second-hand in Japan.

What is confirmed by the fac! that the European manual is for HB-55P and HB-75P ..... so, no HBI-55 except with the Japanese models

I'm looked for info. In the MSX magazine 1984-01 page 104, it says the HBI-55 cartridge is included with the HB-55. So there is no longer any doubt.

It's amazing because the cartridge does not work with the included software without RAM extension, same for the Two specific Basic instructions, and there is only one cartridge port.

No, because the HBI-55 is in the HB-55 box (see Korean review already mentioned!)

I found a HB-55 firmware in BlueMSX Roms. It has no function for Data cartridge nor Basic instruction. The menu remains the same as in the following video even when the cartridge is inserted.

So the cartridge was there for other more general uses. Which makes it understandable that it is included. Sony must have made software that uses this cartridge.

Don't forget that there are 2 versions of the HB-55. The version you have tried with blueMSX is version 1.
