I don't mean to be pedantic, but just FYI: the item you have listed as "chandelier" is actually a "candelabra." A chandelier is something that has to hang from the ceiling -- if it's held in the hand, it's not a chandelier.

Thanks for the precisions. I'll fix that on the map.
Already fixed!
Another example of missing info on Generation MSX.

There is another release, it's in MSX Club Magazine 22, published in 1989. The listing is longer than the Spanish release (especially Dutch explanations, PSG data, access codes to the stages). It precises '(c) W.Dewijngaert 1988' - Lengte: 21K - Idee : Kouzy-Soft - Muziek:Compile). The intro screen says ' (c) 1988 by Game Master Wim'.
Does the Spanish version have really been released in 1987 or is this just a fake indication? Or is the Dutch version an improved version? Many things to check...
I have updated Castle Adventure metadata on GenMSX, and also updated the map to the corrected one.
Will have a look at GALF.
A little remark: it seems that your recent screenshots are not centred. Some games or demos use SET ADJUST and change the default settings in your emulator.
I always check the listings for that and remove eventually the SET ADJUST instruction before running the game and making screenshots, because it is so annoying, especially for the games ruuned after this unsolicited change in the settings!
(double post)
Ahh, yes I had noticed that was happening on occasion. Was not sure what the cause was. Anything I can set in OpenMSX to ignore the set adjust or do I really need to start inspecting the code?
I normally try to make screenshots from an MSX1 if it was MSX1 software also because of the colour pallet difference, and Japanese games from a Japanese machine type to get the correct fonts.
Regarding GALF, I have added a comment to the Description tab, added another release, and another comment in that release with the copyright claim.
You have 2 differents solutions with an emulator:
- Enter SET ADJUST(0,0) as on a real machine before running a new game
- Delete the file corresponding to the clockchip of the emulated machine before running the emulator (.cmos file in SRAM subdirectory of blueMSX, in My Docs/openMSX/persistent/etc... for openMSX)
Ok, for Castle Adventure I have uploaded new screenshots for both releases without the centering issue. Thanks for the heads up.
Just fixed another detail of the map. I had forgotten the key required for the left door in the hall.
