Today I put a snake in my MSX Room.
It's not just a snake, it's Solid Snake

Only recently I got a PlayStation 2 and borrowed MGS 2 from a friend.
I was surprised by, and very amused with all the still present gameplay similarities to the MSX versions.
The first MG is even referenced near the end of the game (as you probably know).

But I think you make an excellent point: Roy Campbell is totally Colonel Trautman! :)
That said, in my mind, Big Boss still looks like Sean Connery with an eyepatch, LOL.
EDIT: new, (unfortunately way smaller) picture. Maybe bandwith exceeded or somebody set up it the bomb. :-?
