some help with last few Goemon texts?

Can anybody help with some of the last Goemon messages? With some I just don't know to fully translate them or I have an idea but its meaning puzzles me.

The two ingame messages are
てもち　ぶたさん。

and

ありそで　うっふん なかそね あっはん

You get them at the 'information seller'.

And there are some 'end of level' texts I don't fully get:

かいばれこうこう　わがぼこう ( level 9: Tanba Province)

のってきたきた　あーこりゃこりゃ (level 16: Settsu Province)

さかせて　さかせて　ももいろ　するめ (level 18: Settsu Province)

やれば　やるほど　あじがでる (level 22: Oumi Province)

すてーじくりあだ　ほほいのほい (level 31: Owari Province)

きょだいな　うめぼし　まるかじり (level 38: Shinano Province)

You get them at the 'information seller'.

And there are some 'end of level' texts I don't fully get:

かいばれこうこう　わがぼこう ( level 9: Tanba Province) (You reveal my alma mater pithead)

のってきたきた　あーこりゃこりゃ (level 16: Settsu Province) (Oh this shit stiffness aboard Kita Kita)

さかせて　さかせて　ももいろ　するめ (level 18: Settsu Province) (The first color to be the SAKASE SAKASE)

やれば　やるほど　あじがでる (level 22: Oumi Province) (They taste so I do)

すてーじくりあだ　ほほいのほい (level 31: Owari Province) (Cheeks deep chestnut or supplement a foundling JI)

きょだいな　うめぼし　まるかじり (level 38: Shinano Province) (Whole objective now YODAINAU bites)

Any help is appreciated!

I can see why Smile (this is through google translator.. and is not 100% accurate)

Yeah I know Google Translate doesn't do the trick. I tried to get some pointers from it and f.i. Excite after I failed to get a fully understandable translation for these lines. In most cases it didn't help much... Should have mentioned it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Nice. Those are (almost) all expressions or proverbs or something, at first glance... In other words: not something that I can translate for you immediately. But I could try and see if I can translate them for you after doing a little research. I will get back to you in this thread later, it's too late for me now Smile

Ok, I'll take a shot.
Please understand however that some of these phrases are hard to interpret without context.

てもち　ぶたさん => I am being bored. (pun on the Japanese expression: temochi busata)
ありそで　うっふん なかそね あっはん => Who knows what might happen? (seductively spoken by a woman)
かいばれこうこう　わがぼこう ( level 9: Tanba Province) => Sunny Weather High School, my alma mater.
のってきたきた　あーこりゃこりゃ (level 16: Settsu Province) => I am getting into the rhythm, oh yeah yeah.
さかせて　さかせて　ももいろ　するめ (level 18: Settsu Province) => Please let me tear the pink-colored dried squid into pieces.
やれば　やるほど　あじがでる (level 22: Oumi Province) => The more you do it, the more interesting it gets.
すてーじくりあだ　ほほいのほい (level 31: Owari Province) => Stage Clear! Hip hip hurray!
きょだいな　うめぼし　まるかじり (level 38: Shinano Province) => Gnawing away a huge pickled Japanese apricot.

Thanks a lot Bernard. Problem with these messages (as with quite a few others in the game), there is not much context to go on. Phrases the 'information seller' utters (first 2 messages) are mostly random. There is no telling when or why you get certain hints. You don't just get hints about being careful near cliffs in levels with cliffs and so on. Since he is a man, I was wondering why the 2nd message might be female speech... Is it perhaps a reference to something outside the game?

The third line perhaps is a reference to one of the game designers. But it is a strange stand alone message between Tanba province being well known for its delicious wild boar and how to become an idol...

Could the level 18 and level 38 messages be just a reference to specialties of the Settsu province and Shinano province respectively (since this is done twice before with tanba province)? Or could something else be its explanation, like being a metaphore or something?

Thanks ever so much with this! And if you or anybody else has any further thoughts about the interpretation I'd like to hear it.
