Hey RyJuZo, don't be angry; you should have expected this fuzz: please keep in mind that you've enter here, present yourself and your team, and said you're gonna make a Konami-quality Knightmare 3 . I really encourage you to make it (I love Knightmare saga), but imho you shouldn't blame anyone for not believing it, as you've rise the expectations really really high
And always remember the marketing mantra:
Satisfaction = Quality - Expectatives
Therefore, if you raise the expectatives and the quality remains the same, then the satisfaction would be reduced. It is what we call "expectation gap".
Anyway, I didn't pretend to sound harsh. But don't loose your time here discussing if you can or not beat the Konami quality level. Instead, invest all this time in the actual project
I promote RyJuZo definitly!! That's why I begin with 'excellent.... looks good....'
Maybe it was wiser to understate my hoax opinion but, as viejo_archivero also stated the, the expectations rise to a very high level...
The quite ones always comes with great games....
Anyways... good luck with the project!!
Hey RyJuZo, what do you think about adding your new debugger features to the mainstream emulator?
And if you wrote the tools in another language than C/C++ its not a problem. One rhe reason for creating the plugin interface we did was to support development of tools in e.g. C#, Java, Delpi, VB, etc. Seems easier to write the tools you're talking about in C# or something.

Ok, guys. Let's focus on game development. MSXdev'08 deadline is coming and there are only 7.5 months ahead, so we need some organization here
All I have to say is that choosing to code an "unofficial" sequel for such a successful saga is a high bet. For example, you can see the SPACE MANBOW 2 case. Development time was long and I should say that, despite being technically excellent, the game hasn't impressed me. If it was just "another shooter" for me it would have been a very nice game. But it pretended to be a sequel to one of the best MSX2 shooters, and I am afraid that it didn't keep the level of the original game, at least when it comes to playability.
If you dare program KNIGHTMARE 3(+1), your game will be judged according to such standards (KNIGHTMARE, MAZE OF GALIOUS AND SHALOM). Just in case you didn't know it, there is a nice MSX2 game highly inspired in MoG, called SIR DAN, programmed by Daniel Zorita several years ago and included IIRC in FUTURE DISK magazine. And several users claim that the recent CAOS BEGINS has been inspired by MoG, although this is not the case. But I guess that any good platform game for MSX1 would have something in common with MoG!

I'm sending an entry for the MRC Challenge and verily, it's gonna blow sweaty, pulsating, purple-veined Taliban c***!
I guess that c*** is a new programming language, like C, C++ or C#.
