Vampier and evulopah; I had hoped you were grown up adults..
Just let the guy enjoy his hobby. Even if it is vapourware, just ignore it and don't feed a possible vapourtroll. If it isn't vapourware, don't talk down on possible interesting projects just because you haven't seen anything of it.
Sure, I also think most of this is more talk than show; but I've stopped caring and so should you.

As for the comment about GuyveR800, please don't drag those discussions up again… I'm getting tired of the hatred that fills up this so-called community from time to time..

So RyJuZo; what will be the 2 letters you'll be adding to your nickname? ;-) Or maybe you can name your new hardware after your latest offspring Big smile

Still it's tricky business. Most of the game logic of about any game (including modern ones) can be done by a Z80 at 3.57Mhz (probably the only exception are games with extensive pathfinding (like Warcraft) and other complex AI, and perhaps games that really require lots and lots of RAM). It's the visuals and the sound that take away the MSX's resources. You could say that by unloading the audio/video from the Z80 you have the whole Z80 for the game logic. I wonder what others would say about this.. the current poll (which I'll try to finish soon Tongue) would suggest that people don't mind extra chips in a game cartridge, but an often heard condition is that the MSX/Z80 still has to do most of the work, and for instance that A/V signals should pass through the MSX and more like such comments.

Since you're seemingly Mr.Hardware here, you probably would say that an MSX with your cartridge (let's call it an Amiga cartridge for sake of discussion) is still an MSX. Now a counter question: if you strip the Motorola from an Amiga and replace it with a Z80 (the remaining A/V chips are identical to your cartridge) would you call the machine an MSX then?

I wouldnot name it a cart but an attempt to imitate something that is a look-a-like gamepc . Can't come up with the name but it was something like quattro core orso
By the way it would be simply expensive as a cart, not as a gamepc/msx.
I donot know exactly what he has in mind as regards launching the product

I really dont care if anyone believes me or not ! I'm too tired to care and I HAVE a life.

I do this for me not for you. pure voluntarely...no deadlines...no hurry...just whenever I've some free time.

I do these things pure out of love for my old computer which brought me a lot of joy when I was younger and nothing else.
So if it takes me ten years to complete/release something...so be it...

I was happy to find that there was a site like this and finding people who (i thought) shared my passion.

I quickly discovered there were also people in this community with lots of builtin negativity with nothing positive to say from the get go...people I tend to ignore in my daily life..let alone in my private life.

If people think by calling someone names and critcizing everything they do they are motivating that person to do *stuff* for them they are sadly mistaken. It works the other way around....Why in hell would I give my creations which took precious free time and hard work to create to these people?? they don't deserve it..

I've ignored this site for a while because of these people and I think I will keep on doing so....

life is too short .....

RyJuZo signing out for the last time...
