Just in case you don't know Game Impact. It is a Japanese site that sells retro-games including two for MSX.

Those are quit pricey though… ¥8800 for a game, how many do they expect to sell in Japan at these prices?

Yes, it is expensive although they are quite simple games. I hesitated before to present it here but I let people decide.

Well, I wasn’t going to pay € 67 + shipping for these games anyway. But I don’t like this “no foreigners” Japanese attitude that is unfortunately not uncommon, and it’s a shame to see it once more.

Burger Kitchen looks kinda fun, I like the box art as well, and the merch for sale is nice too.

While I agree with you, but I also think that international regulations make it really almost impossible for small companies to sell stuff to other countries. I've been reading on the new international regulations to just send items to europe, and I am almost glad they don't have to deal with sending items to europe.

I do know there are japanese companies who can buy these items for you, and deal with all the import and export customs, and send the items to you. I watch this UK person who uses these services and stream about it, but I don't do that myself (yet).

In fact, I am now thinking of just not accepting the MSXDev prizes just because of people having to send them to here, and either me or them have to deal with the customs. (I'll need a bit more time to think about it right now.)

Also, that Tiny Dracula game looks interesting, but I'm not too sure how that last character 城 should be translated. Town? City? Castle?

The best is to do a 城 search with google image, and and you'll get a good idea.

You can always circumvent the no foreigners clause by buying through ZenMarket. Just paste the item URL into their site and they will confirm price and you can buy it. Still won’t do it with this kind of prices (and I have a no physical games policy anyway Wink)
