I am selling my MSX-VR, there are a number of reasons
1 A shortage of cash at the moment.
2. I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.
3. It is a fine product, but I feel it is incomplete, as shown by the number of updates it receives.
I originally purchased it 2nd hand, but believe there is still warranty and support from Alberto.
I have listed it on eBay
It appears to be a very flexible product, but I don't really have the time to spend with it, a low start price.

I have added photos to my listing. The monitor is use is a 32" Sony Bravia, so the graphics are not at there best! These systems where designed for an older generation of set. The white bars are reflections from my window.
Two of a SMS game, Sonic the hedgehog
MSX Nemesis enhanced version, Boot screens showing all MSX versions, the MSXVR startup logo, and a photo of the unit as is, with covers over the cartridges.
It should be able to play most MSX cartridge games although I have none to try? It did have issues running the flash ROM cartridges, but no issues running them from ROM and DSK images from the internal SD drive. Reading the MSXVR website these issues will be sorted sometime in the future?

I'm also watching this auction, but I'm just curious, not wanna buy.
First thing I would recommend to put better images in that auction. You got (only) two pictures of the machine, which one is a rendered PR image. Further the images doesn't show up the same computers - the rendered one have the T-stlye cursor keys, while yours comes withe the Sony style ones. I wouldn't care about different images of the BASIC start up screen as a buyer, more to see the status of this third-hand-machine.
This is a lot of money, so try to sell it like it is: probably the MSX of the future. Wink
Just my 2 pennies.

I see. You deleted the render image, that's good. Was too confusing.

Part of me wishes MSX VR was a kit you'd put together. I see very little benefit in buying basically an emulator running inside a Pi; I see a lot of potential to learning by providing the pieces and having kids put them together.

The issues here involve a service that would be available to fix any issues from badly assembled kits, thre is a kit to build an MSX if you really wanted one
