Bazix doesn't seem to be very comunicative either on the subject. I can only hope for them that the people that have pre-ordered it, all still want their OCM by the time it gets available.
Hope they received my cancellation of OCM order, mainly because a friend of mine has bought me on in Japan...

If I were you, I would e-mail them again, and demand a confirmation. Also make sure the e-mail has both read & receipt confirmation requests.
It's better to be safe than sorry
I still cannot understand WHY people hasn't gathered toghether and rolled their own. The schematic is avaiable, the VHDL code is avaiable, the GPL license says you CAN make a derivative product/code...so...what make you wait for bazix et al? Do your own board and make it open source!

See my above mentioned appeal on bazix. Bazix is the representative of MSX -A
They can grant you legaL use of bios-roms etc. But the simple fact that importing costs are that high you wouldn't take a change to do it.
The solution is to do it in license- such as we did it with the gamereader which is cheaper than in Japan -.
No high costs for import, direct a good european version in the year MSX is 25
And the support ....
Think about it and who's with me
If Sunrise decide making a OCM, for sure, I'll buy one.
Who's next .... Come on !
I've been wanting to buy the OCM since the day Bazix announced it, so I'll buy it from whoever is the one who to produce it...
Idd, it doesn't matter much to me if it's produced by MSXA or under license of MSXA. I hope Bazix could actually arrange for the OCM to be produced 'locally', sounds like a great option and a way around the RoHS troubles...
You still have to be RoHS compliant...
