The Great Giana Sisters was part of my initial list, but Valis and Valis II should be on the list - without the cuteness-factor though :)

Agree! Solid candidate.

I also found a couple of new ones myself. But I have always had serious gripes with Spectrum conversions :-( I never managed to have fun playing them - I've been too distracted by the color bleed (and ususally slow movement):

And unfortunately they don't have any "cuteness-factor" either :)

Ok, I'll just as well do a little round-up: The comprehensive list Smile

I titled the post "Top scrolling platform games on the MSX". I don't think I will judge, so I'll just list them all up in no particular order - all suggestions that fit into the requirements. Ideally the game would have a "cuteness"-factor, but not a strict requirement, and therefore the list grew up to 35 titles + three unreleased ones. The list below can certainly be split into different categories (like vertical scroll only, spectrum-port, cute, smooth scroll, etc), but I have no need for that atm.

Not released:

If I manage to finish my current project - we have another title to add to the list
