Angelic Warrior DEVA: Preorders started!

The MSX2 game Angelic Warrior DEVA is a fast-paced action-RPG with Psycho World and Valis 2 reminiscences.
It features quick parallax scrolling, 10 large environments to explore, colorful graphics, animated visual stages and a great soundtrack.

System: MSX2/2+/turbo R
Memory: 128 Kb minimum
Music: MSX Music and/or MSX Audio (Moonsound can be used instead of MSX Audio) (the game doesn't have exclusive OPL4 soundtracks or SFX)
Format: 2048Kb MegaROM with S-Ram
Save game in cartridge
V9990 NOT required
Joymega support has been removed
The game comes on a 2048kb cartridge, therefore the price is higher than the standard 64kb cartridges.
Limited amount of cartridges will be made, so you might lose your chance to order in the future
Game doesn't work on: Toshiba HX-34 with 64kb of ram

Pre-order the game for €49,95 (excluding shipping cost) now by sending a message with your name and address to: teamdevamsx@gmail.com

The pre-order duration will be until 31-08-2020.
After that the pre-order will close. Team DEVA will then order the cartridges from the manufacturer. The boxes and manuals will be printed, and the game will be shipped in December.

We ran into several issues while trying to support joymega. I'm not the programmer but we tested it thoroughly and abandoned the idea in the end. Sorry

No, the music in the trailer is arranged music. I wish I could squeeze that kind of sound out of a FM Pac and/or Music Module. You can listen to one of the actual songs from the game here.

Hello everybody. I want to give all you people a short update regarding our game Deva. We have had a slight delay in flashing the cartridges. This is because I got the coronavirus some time ago and therefore had other priorities for a while. But now I have somewhat recovered and will start flashing cartridges as soon as possible. So no worries, everyone will get their game but with a slight delay. We hope to start sending out cartridges in january/february 2021. Again, sorry for the delay...

There seems to be a large difference between all the joymegas that are built and in some cases the joymega code even though well written caused steange behaviour on nornal joysticks. This would mean that the control code would require a complete rewrite with extra menu support which at the stage of rounding up would mean a huge delay in the release date. It just so happens that every joymega behaves just a little bit different so support is just too tedious to apply for a game that autodetects all controls at once.
