A portable MSX. (Gameboy Case)

What's Inside:
- Charge Control
- OneChip MSX Base.
- Speaker
- USB Keyboard Support
- 14500 Battery (AA Size 800mA *4) - Approx. 3-4 Hours usable.
And so on.. Smile

Keyboard test.

Outfit. This hardware cannot use real MSX cartridge but I'll make some
hardware for real cartridge.. (Just thinking..)
For now, this hardware supports Gameboy sized MSX cartridge. (Also I made it)

That is just awesome! A portable MSX! But be careful with the names you use. Some copyright "activists" may slam you for using registered trademarks in your projects. Please provide some details on the production costs. Do you plan to make your own cases? What is the estimated cost of the device?

IMO you should make a small sized multi-mapper flash cartridge. And it should be programmable from MSX or PC with an additional adapter.

Does the device have a power socket for the USB phone charger? That could be also handy when using power banks.

Adding support for portable Bluetooth keyboards may not be a bad idea. Wired keyboards are getting obsolete.

Right. That's why it is just working title.
There is already small mapper and other things Smile
This one uses 4 pi power plug same as psp.
It cannot use bluetooth keyboard. Just PS/2 compatible usb keyboard.

I am not sure using something propriatory from Sony is a good idea. Why not a standard power plug?

If an OCM is used, a mapper should already be there. I would make a GB cartridge with an SD slot which can be mounted as a drive. Probably a lot cheaper & easier.

tfh: However, this one uses real cartridge with mapper inside.
Sd is used for loader but cartridge is just itself.
There could be some expansion card to use original game cartridge also.

I do not want to change the outfit of gameboy case. It has the power jack port cause I just use that.
Still, it is the standard also. Do you think I use the ps vita connector?

You said you used "4 pin power plug like on psp". If that is just the plug shown on your picture, then everything is fine.

msxDS is also good for a pocket MSX. The keyboard is on the touch screen.

Obviously. But what is "4 pi"? I can't find this anywhere. Google corrects it to "4 pin".
