Well, there is a Cabbage Patch Kids complete up on ebay, if your willing to spend 700 euro.

Back in early February, the seller had it up for 2500 euro, but has been gradually reducing it. Seemingly trying to find the point of maximum profit.

That's around 0.05€ per byte of the game ! The equivalent price for a Fallout 4 copy would be around 1.5 billion € !!

Well... if you add the HD Texture Pack (60GB) it will be far more... ;P
Apart of that, it is an item only seen in eBay once every three or four years.

I'm searching for also the titles you're searching from YEARS ago (maybe more than 5 years, among others). Of course, I don't want to pay this amount of money.

Yeah, I've dropped the idea of having a complete Konami collection. The last pieces (Cabbage Patch Kids, Konami Synthesizer...) are way too expensive compared to the pleasure I'd have to play/use them. Space Manbow might be my last addition to the collection.

Synthesizer is just for the sake of completion indeed. It has no use at all to boot it
So it's a cupboard filler.

That´s true, some of these games are not worth paying these prices for the few times (at least I) that we use it so I´m totally with Louthrax almost dropping the idea to have a complete collection ... buuut who knows ...

Along these last years I´ve had the opportunity to buy some of these games but I missed because I thought that the prices were crazy by then. The thing is that everyday are going up

Prices seem to rise and rise... Though, for some items the price level has been similar for a long time (for example Metal Gear 2 and (SD) Snatcher)

For some items the "want"-level is so high that the prices seem to go to really high level. Lately I have seen prices like 15000-20000yen paid for a single old Konami poster.

Years ago I had one goal with my collection and stopped when I got to that level. And now (stupid me) I'm trying to get some more and get some items also in a better condition. Quite expensive nowadays compared to about 15 years ago...

Synthesizer prices are quite artificial if you ask me... it’s not all too uncommon to see it on eBay.

I’d love to add a Metal Gear 2, Tower of Gazzel, Aleste 2 and Mr. Ghost to my collection, but I think I’ll give up on that ambition, certainly for the latter two .

Synthesizer prices are quite made up at the moment. But that is also a reason that they look common. There is no demand for that price, so the same few units keep on hanging. Synthesizer was one of the hardest ever to find "back in the day". Same story goes with the Cabbage Patch Kids. Price has been driven so up that it looks more common than it really is.

iirc crazy train and time pilot went for rediculous prices a few years ago, but i've seen them go for far less than € 100,-. That certainly goes for crazy train. Quite harsh fluctuation
