The board is ready for production. I will order 10 boards only.
I want to buy two of those for a normal cartridge case, please.
Noted.
I want to buy one more for the normal cartridge case, and if possible also one for the side module slot.
As you probably noticed, I advertised your PCBs around here.
We're going to make a group purchase to split the shipping costs.
Ok, will let you know when the boards are here.
Cool project!
It looks like I might be getting too late in the thread but you may be interested in using JT51, my YM2151 core for FPGA.
By the way, if you have made a working YM2148 core for FPGA, I would be interested in using it as part of an SFG-01 extension to OneChipMSX port on MiST platform.
-- I am new to the forum, sorry for not introducing myself properly. I have an interest in Yamaha synthesizers and have released two Yamaha FM cores for FPGA projects, available on github: JT51 and JT12.
Hey jotego,
nice to meet more Yamaha user around, as the powerful synth was always a poor cousin in the scene. We´re doing live music on two CX5 here, accompany our choir.
The YM2151 emulation will definitely be a good addon for our upcoming MultiSound cartridge. Thanks!
Feel free to use our YM2148 code in your projects.
Finally assembled the clone and the converter board.
The module plays background music and enters BIOS when asked. But it still needs some testing and bugfixing. Sometimes the machine hangs when playing music and reading from disk. We have an idea why this happens, so we will be working on a fix. The boards will be sold after we finish the bugfix. However if someone still wants a board, he can buy it on his own risk. :)
Tomorrow I will assemble the cartridge and see if it has the same issue...
