@ sd_snatcher: Thanks, friend. I needed that. Smile We needed that. It means a lot to me, really.

@ ren: Nah. It's done. I don't have anything personally against tfh, and I don't think he has something against me.
I think (hope) we're fine now. We both made our points clear. Maybe I overreacted, so I'm sorry for that.

Yeah, big thanks to the whole MRC team from here too. My newspost for SofaRun was in the backlog during a week or so (I did not mind because that allowed me to fix some small things at the time), I just sent a PM to Ro asking him if he can do something, and in a few hours it was done Smile

I won't be 'hostile' to you anymore, and as far as I'm concerned, I'll never be again and practically forget about this argument if you can find the time to let go off my ass about newsposts that aren't to your liking. Wink

Peace?

That is very big of you John, if it weren't for the fact that first you start lecturing me again without taking your own (overre)action into account. Peace is a two-way street.
You have really been seeing things that aren't there. If you really think that my reaction in the Starship Rendevouz thread was something personal, well.. I really don't know how to explain that. And it's really a shame. We have had some long & funny and sometimes more serious discussions on Facebook in the past and I really really never had any problems with you untill your "explosion" today.
So peace? No... Not untill you've taken a closer look towards your own actions today. Truce? Sure...

Come on, I'm sure that this would never have happened if you guys had been talking in a pub in front of some beers instead of on a forum. That's the bad thing with forums, and even emails, you don't see the face and expression of your interlocutor. Jokes are not sounding the same when you can see a friendly smile on the person saying it (ah yes, we have smileys for that, but that's not exactly the same thing), that's also why you have to be careful in the way you write things...

That really looks like a "forum-accident" to me, no need to make it worse. You guys both look like nice persons from what I've read here, continuing that fight really makes no sense.

I second that entirely!

Thirded. I feel John explained himself pretty well in his last post & reached out there, no need to hold a grudge (but if you like/insist to do so..)
Feels like a rater trivial issue that escalated a bit: John got a bit annoyed, etc. Happens. And of course, you (tfh) didn't mean to offend Wink
So stop the 'truce' bs already, Peace ('forgiveness' ( Running Naked in a Field of Flowers )) is the way forward (holding grudges is bad for your health btw..) Wink

My parents always tell me they didn't stay together for their kids, but for their dogs. Pretty traumatic. It would be nice if some people could stay together for me. Especially for me. Only for me. So please John and TFH, make my day.

At the end there was no winner, although one of the competitors had more diskdrives and even more keys.
