MSX fanatic Manuel Bilderbeek managed to organize the eleventh MSX fair in his home town. With booth holders like Sofarun, Meteor-M and RBSC the fair may be rightfully called international. Quite an achievement which deserves some kudos.

The first batch of photos and some videos were taken by several guys from Near Dark. If you have photographs of this event which you'd like to share with us, please do send them. The more the merrier counts for photos as well.

Update: Fair organizer Manuel shared some of his pictures with us.

I really missed out on quite a day. Looking at the photoshoot I'm just amazed at the high quality of practically all that was presented. Playsoniq, Modulon, Procryon, Deva, Laserdisc/RPI, SymbOS, VGMPlay, GR8NET, Zemmix Neo... it just goes on and on... Who would have thought we would achieve these kinds of things, this progress and this quality in the year 2016? The MSX community keeps taking that rusty old 8bit computer to greater and greater heights. I bow to you all! Wink

Very nice fair, lot of people, interesting stuff and most important: a chaos armada of noizes, just like Tilburg and Zandvoort Smile

And Grauw was the absolute winner with his black/yellow speakers and VGMPlay demo regarding illegal DB loudness.

The fair was awesome and I missed half of it. Too focused on all kinds of stuff! Talked to people had fun and forgot about life's problems for a while. It was awesome!

Yeah, that was a great week-end, always feeling like a teenager again at that time Smile
So many new cool software and hardware projects and things this year. The MSX scene seems quite alive, and might stay alive as long as we are too, still some decades of happy MSXing in front of us! I will just need to find a smaller CRT TV for my demos, that will not be so easy to carry when I'll be 80 years old Running Naked in a Field of Flowers

Yes, that was a fantastic fair again! Smile
@Louthrax: I am sure you can carry it during the next 10 years, but then you need an anti-gravity quantum physics based one, which is not a big problem for you at all Big smile
