But I reckon you're looking for real MSX chip-tunes right? ;-)
Perhaps something from Knightmare (game-start or main (stage 1) theme), or something from Pippols?
(And of course, you could use the original Bubble Bobble tune also ;))

My version did. After "This is Joey, Paul, Willy and Frankie" it played on the cassette version.
I did see versions on Youtube that lacked this music though. Weird...

And I realize now that I have the 'other' omnipresent Aackosoft theme on my phone, but I'll have to look up the corresponding games that use it.

I'll be! I checked out some versions... Found out that the otra edición version @ msxcas has the music, as well as the 30 MSX Hits version from the Tosec collection. It's the same tune as Confused when you complete a puzzle! (Played that game fairly often, part of it was the catchy tune alright that kept me hooked (and made me move like a crazy idiot when I solved a puzzle / completed a 'stage')... ;-))

On a side note - does anyone know if dumps exist (floating around on the interwebs) of the 'MSX Compilation' series by Aackosoft? (Oh Shit! is also featured on MSX Compilation 5.)

I've had the pinguin adventure intro + first part of the first level music als ringtone. The Usas intermezzo seems like a good replacement. Or the metal gear 2 gameplay intro.

Or just use the Nokonamia tune ;)
