The msx scene in the uk has been far too quiet for far too long so I thought it would be good to know who from the uk still visits this site and is still keen on all things msx. If there is still some interest it might be good to have a meet up of some kind, or maybe visit an msx fair outside the uk or even represent the msx at a uk retro event. Feedback would be good!

I'm UK based. Still got my CX5M, CX5M-II and HX-22 plus 30+ games, though I rarely find time to do anything with them nowadays.

Hi everybody! I am still an active MSX user based on Camberley, Surrey.
It will be great to build up some sort of MSX club or network here in the UK so please count on me guys! Face

I'm still trying to build a Arduino based .cas/.wav loader with motor control. With the help of someone else I have the circuit design and the arduino software but I'm still trying to get it to actually work with my MSX. I may need a volume control to be added. If anyone is interested in helping please let me know. My end goal is have a design for a cheap SD card tape loader with full motor control for low end MSX users and any other 8-bit machine users.

I'm in the UK, and a newcomer to all things MSX. My main interest is FPGA-based retrocomputing, so OneChipMSX is right up my street, and I've already ported it to run on the Turbo Chameleon 64.

Cheers guys, good to hear from you. Just out of interest did any of you subscribe the 'msx link' in the late 80s?.I think it started after all uk official msx magazines had stopped. I would like to get hold of any copies of the fanzine style magazine that the link team produced. Smile
