Thank you NYYRIKKI!
Is that the only byte you have to change to get it to start the machine at 60 Hz? That is easy to change, I think... jpgrobler, can you change the romimage or do you prefer that I mail you the changed image?
And can you tell me how much (and how ;-) I have to pay you to burn/flash a new NMS 8250 sub(ep)rom and mail it to the Netherlands?
Thanks a lot to everybody!
I was just wondering, that hmm... Maybe it is good idea to add some code.. Something like: Boot normally in 60Hz mode, but if "H"-letter is hold down while booting, use 50Hz instead...
Working of the code is easy to test with emulator...
If somebody can write that code, that is... And find space in the stuffed 32kB... But for now, just start at 60 Hz is more than good enough! And with the other magic line (vdp(10)=2 ;-) I can always switch after startup.
Today I'm too lazy to start to do anything anymore, but tomorrow I can do that modification if you like.
I'll change a single byte no problem, but if you code updated to dual boot 50 or 60hz you'll have to wait for NYYRIKKI to be less lazy!
Super-X also has a nice english manual and NYYRIKKI did some repaires to the code.
IT is a VERY NICE proggy!
Ok, than I wait for NYYRIKKI to do some wizardry on the subrom!
Thanks again!

Yes, BIG thanx to you!
Last week I recieved the modified rom from JP. Yesterday I plugged it into my 8250 and....
it works perfectly!
I can recommend this (the code from NYYRIKKI is somewhere in this forum-thread) to everyone who wants to play his (original ;-) roms on 60Hz!
Thank you very much for your time, NYYRIKKI and JPGrobler!
A very happy MSX user!
Good to hear, note that this patch is anyway only for 8250.
