When rendering the small sized news, the right column is shrinked.

I'm currently using Firefox 3.0 on a P IV running Ubuntu 8.06.

Now that ff is out of beta and still rendering MRC wrongly I will have a look into it. Hope I'm able to fix it soon. Still, adapting a standards-compliant website that's been rendered correctly in all big browsers for more than 5 years already, just to make it work in a certain browser is kind of the world upside down to me. FF aficionado's have always said that about IE, but the same goes the other way 'round.

Maybe it's standards compliant, but not exactly as you thought? It's possible that all other browsers are rendering it incorrectly Tongue

You might just want to tell this to the Mozilla developers, you can easily contact them on IRC, e.g. Maybe they can even help you find the problem (either in MRC or in their own code).

Actually, I fear that snout will be like: "MRC2k8 ppl, MRC2k8!" Hannibal

So uhm, could you survive for some while with an alternative browser until MRC2k8 is ready? Tongue

mm, just ran this page trough the validator at http://validator.w3c.org/
*click*

And already got an "unclosed end-tag requires SHORTTAG YES" :)

Oh, it's shows that there're 14 validation errors...Sad

IIRC last time I tested Opera it showed a similar screwed layout as FF is doing now; so maybe right now only IE is able to render the page as it was designed.

FF3 passes the Acid test. So, I guess it is not a problem in the browser.

Sorry snout, you are getting more and more alone... Tongue
