Good games for MSX1? There are many indeed... Almost all from Konami, Compile and Sega, just to name a few. About Green Beret. The original Green Beret was from Konami, but the MSX1 Green Beret is an adaptation of Spectrum's Green Beret.
But let's talk about really awful games....

Any game by Positive Software. They range from awful to even worst than that. Pyramid Warp by T&E Soft, any shooter with 16 Kbytes size (except Sky Jaguar), Mirai (nice music and idea, but with awful graphics and horrid controls), Dog Fight, and the list goes forever.

What's Michael from Micro Cabin

Actually What's Michael is one of the funniest manga I ever read. If the game follows closely the history of the manga, then it surely must be funny too.

ehhh.... NO! No remakes, try to make new games. Nobody is interested in, for example, Usas with improved graphics and music. It's still the same game!
