We did a nice review of that game on the FD iirc... I think AJ was one of the very first people mature enough to realize his game was indeed 'not among the all-time top-10 best games'. What was really cool tho, is that he then decided to become a better programmer. Most ppl that got bad reviews on the FD would either cry and quit MSX or would cry and say we sucked. Ah, the beautiful times...
Which reminds me, I still need to finish my 'Anime Corner'... ^_^
Oh!!! I'm that other big airplane I wanted to be after the 747!!!
<--- See, it says 777
Next stop, 747-800 ER
Guess who is working on his post count
Looking at the list, I feel like nominating Fray too You suck
BMX Simulator by Mastertronic was a pretty rubbish game, as was the Mastertronic Rally game, I cant remember the name now! I am not sure if Mastertronic was released in mainland Europe, they where big in the UK with budget titles.
Can't we just make a list of good games and assume everything else sucks? I think that'd save us a lot of time...
Guess who is working on his post count Oh excuse me Mr. 1022 posts worth of bullshit!!
BMX Simulator was one of my favorite games, just like Vestron! I grew up playing those games on my vg8020 with data recorder. However, one of the games I didn't get at that time was Octagon Squad. Bought it for 4 euro's back then, but never understood what to do (the manual wasn't really clear on that, especially for a 13-year old).
The Living Daylights, a game also infected by the "English Disease".
It sucked, the player sprite moves as fast 'n' easy like a pile of shit working its way up a tree.
I actually played Guido's Lost in Plantinus for a fair share of time, btw.
Almost completed it once.
Don't wanna get more specific though...
