well, I just bought a Turbo-R ST So the above list isn't completely correct anymore.

The brain have almost four memory areas, short time storage as (RAM) one for VIDEO, AUDIO, LANGUAGE....
and long time storage as (HD)... ALL mixed and already compress i supposed

i bet the short time storage video are not more bigger that 1GB not more or can less ... because is used as buffer for conding info to long time storage area.

the real speed???? is parallel processing, not have a central processor...

Ok.. But to stay with the subject... My best config was:

Turbo R GT (512 KbRam, 128 KbVram, FmPac, Dos2)
MoonSound, Music Module, SCC (Gradius 3 + MG 2)
Scsi (Bert... Bezopen En Rij Toch & Gouda SCSI (Novaxis was it?))
210 + 60 Mb HD's SCSI

My current config
Nms 8250 (256 Mb Ram, 128 Kb Vram)
Fmpac (just bought one at E-bay!)
Moonsound
Scsi (With still the same Bezopen en rij toch Scsi)
210 Mb HD SCSI
60 Mb Hd (but I won't connect this one any more.. Has some prob during startup)
