Did you know that the ending theme from Firebird is actually a cover? The original is a J-Pop song composed especially for the Hinotori anime. Unfortunately, I don't have the original, but a Japanese MSX user once presented it to me.

Where are all the great Falcom and Micro Cabin songs in this 'best PSG song' thing, by the way? My impression is that this is more like a 'best known nice PSG song'. The best PSG song is without arguing composed by either Falcom or Micro Cabin.

MRC is not to blame for the Konami-only results, i think it's due to voters who don't know any other songs than the Konami ones and didn't feel like listening to Omega's MSX Radio. The nomination list had plenty of non-Konami songs.

Micro Cabin songs are in the MSX-Music section...the games that support FM-Pac have not been nominated for the PSG versions of those songs as far as I know. That includes Xak, Firehawk and Dragonslayer VI which had great PSG music, but supported FM-Pac.

Otherwise I agree with Leesmapman...
