Please, check out the new update: it should have working multitouch and will no longer crash when you exit to the file menu and run emulator for the second time.

works as advertised =) Wink

multi-touch is working fine now. There are indeed no more crashes as well.

One minor thing I'm noticing is that sometimes the filters (scanlines, blur) are not enabled when starting a game, but when I go the menu settings and back they will be restored. This seems similar to what happened with the screen size before ; it now only happens to the filters, though.

Anyway, I'm really liking this release, it's very nice to use now Smile

and now... best way to get used to touch screen controls: contra ... phew, it's hard (and to think I normally never play it without clearing all stages). Smile

What is the output resolution of this Android version?

How does that work, actually? Is there something of a 'controller' displayed on the screen which reacts to touch? I think it's interesting.

fms implemented a light grey grid that partly overlaps the MSX screen (which is stretched to about the maximum vertical resolution of the device). basically it works like normal controls (d-pad, a,b) but it's harder since it's missing the feedback of actually pushing buttons.
I'll try make a photo or vid...

@Samor: If you have got a physical keyboard, it will also work!
@Manuel: fMSX will adapt to whatever screen resolution your device has.

@fms you mean like a Desire Z?
My device doesn't have a separate (physical) keyboard
