Hi berry40000,

I did some eBay searching for you too, because apparently you didn't search very well...

here are 2 recent eBay listings where a loose cart of Road Fighter was actually sold for around €10 (w/o shipping).

http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/ROAD-FIGHTER-Konami-Jeu-MSX-RC73...
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/MSX-ROM-ROAD-FIGHTER-RC730-KONAM...

And here's another one sold for around €13.

Not sure where you found those 30-50 USD listings, but either those weren't actually sold at that price, or they weren't loose carts.

As for non loose carts, there is currently a listing on retroclasificados for a boxed copy of Road Fighter (w/o manual) for €17.

MSX2 is fully backwards compatible with MSX1 game cartridges. There will be no problem at all.

Hi foobarry81

Here is the listings i am talking about on ebay

http://m.ebay.com/itm/MSX-ROAD-FIGHTER-Cartridge-Import-Japa...

http://m.ebay.com/itm/MSX-ROAD-FIGHTER-Cartridge-Import-Japa...

http://m.ebay.com/itm/MSX-ROAD-FIGHTER-Konami-Import-Japan-V...

As you see in the links the loose range from 30 to 50 and the complete is 120 dollars

But any way i guess ox is talking about msx2 and this cart is for msx1 so i don't know if it would work or no

It'll work. I can guarantee you that.

And none of the links you provided are sold listings. Which means nobody has actually paid that kind of money for a loose Road Fighter (yet). I can also create a listing on eBay asking $50 right now, or even $100, for a Road Fighter, but that doesn't mean anyone will buy it.

Actually I wouldn't know. The price of Konami games like Road Fighter is well documented because many Konami MSX games are quite common and get sold on eBay, here or elsewhere regularly.

Your other games are not common though. They're actually quite rare, I think.

As with anything rare however, the price will very much depend on how desirable it is to potential buyers. E.g. a complete Metal Gear 2 (Konami) is not as rare as a complete Dragon Slayer (Square), but Metal Gear 2 is more desirable so people will pay a lot more money for it.

To collectors who want a full Al Alamiah set for example those games might be very valuable, and they may be willing to pay a good price to complete their collection. But people who don't know these games, might not want to risk paying a lot only to find out that they don't like the games.

So it will be important for you to find the right buyer, most likely an Al Alamiah collector.
