I´m selling my old Elgin Lady 80 dot matrix printer

It was very useful back in the old days of school, but now is just an antique

Seems to be working fine, but I didn't manage to test print (it turns on the it acts properly as before)

olny US$ 40

:)

If someone is also looking for genuine MSX printers, I have plenty in stock. For any reasonable offer, picking up gives a 50% discount.

Unless someone is looking for the this specific model JasonLee, I doubt you'll be selling this printer for such a steep price.
At least in the Netherlands (in the last couple of years) printers have often been sold for like 5 EUR (~6.5 USD) or less at MSX fairs/meetings; often they were even thrown/given away. There really isn't much a market any more for MSX printers.

I got some left also some sony plotters. The printers and plotters can be used for hobbyprojects, but I'm still at the level of trying to built stuff connected to joystickport. Maybe in 5 years I'm ready to convert a printer to a scanner.

Same here. We never should do that even with not working HW, throw away MSX stuff is throw away computer history. If some HW/SW bother us, always there is someone willing to preserve them.

One of my old Near Dark colleagues did that with a diskdrive sensor on top of the printerhead.
One could vaguely see the result's resemblance with the scanned object... Looked like crap but was major fun for a couple of teenage boys...

I understand, but why wasn't one printer enough oO
And may I assume you got a big stack of modems as well?
