Well lets go for the gusto here.

Does anyone have an SCART monitor they'd be willing to donate for shipping (if the shipping isnt a huge amount)?

I have a 220V one left, but it's disastrous to ship them... They're big, clunky, heavy and easy to break... a 5-10kg package will cost 57.10 euros to ship to the USA...

Indeed, if it's 12kg, it's € 104,10 to ship...

North American Commodore 1084P can be bought for about 30-50$ and supports RGB input at both 50 and 60Hz. If you can't find one locally in thrift and/or surplus electronics stores (they are often sold as cheap monitors for CCTV), you can always turn to eBay.

they arent too cheap on ebay really... but I have a few sources that have some...

but , it turns out more than just the front panel was damaged in shipping due to a shit packjob.

so, screw it.

and we are back to square 1.
