I hope you will find one. With a little luck you might. Last summer I bought one from one who advertised it on this forum. I've never seen one on Ebay or a similar auction site. Mega SCSI is still the best especially because it also works with fat16 partitions... flawless Smile

W76: Sunrise ATA-IDE does that as well. In what aspect do you think the MEGA-SCSI is better? I think IDE is better overall -- HDDs are a lot cheaper and easier to get, you can attach a flashcard adapter, ... On the other hand, you can not attach a SCSI scanner to the IDE interface Wink

SCSI harddisks are the most reliable harddisks around. For PC use SCSI is better so is it is for MSX. Those little SCSI disks aren't cheaper or more expensive as IDE disks if the size is ≤ 8GB. Easier to get may be true, but on Ebay of Marktplaats if you like are enough to find. Flash card isn't necessary when you use fat16 disks. Just hook them up to your pc for data transfer.

SCSI and IDE disks are identical, except that they have a different interface.... The interface doesn't change anything to the disk, really.

It's mainly not the disk alone but the combination with the controller which makes it more reliable.

I never find a better tool to load disk !

Think EP.com is better than RunIt. Smile
