We have over 10 Yamaha YIS-503III computers for sale. The computers are located in Russia (Moscow). The condition is good, but some keys may be yellowish. Some scratches may be present, but nothing major. The computers are sold without monitors. They require 220V power. The composite video output is black and white, so an RGB cable may be necessary to get the color picture. The keyboard is not QWERTY, but JCUKENG.

The price is 125 Euro per computer excluding shipment. This is a good deal for a rare MSX2 computer. These computers can be converted to MSX2+. You can select the computer from the photo and ask the details or additional photos from the seller in Moscow.

Please note that these computers do not have disk drives, so if you want to load games by other means than the cassette interface, you will need to buy a cartridge with FlashROM + IDE (Carnivore, MFR, etc.) or at least something that can work with disk drive images (EmuFDC).

IMPORTANT! If you pay with Paypal, you will need to add 5-7% to the total amount (computer+shipment) for the transfer fee.

Please contact me using the e-mail address from my MSX.ORG profile and I will connect you to the seller.

Is there an easy way to change these from ЙЦУКЕН to QWERTY, like flashing a custom rom? I imagine this would make them much more desirable outside of Russia.

Sure, the ROM can be changed to a QWERTY one, but the order of the keys will remain the same until you change the caps. However' I am not sure that this is possible because each key row has somewhat different shape.
