PLEASURE HEARTS ADPCM VERSION
Nice try, but all I can hear is "aiopeeaa wahahaha" sort of voice. What is this?
I never knew
Nice, in this game the explosions disappear with the scroll.
I planning not include +PCM SFX #10 also called as #90 (Big Explosion seems just used at the main title screen)
after looking inside KANEKO/Airbuster Arcade ROM (pr-200.bin) one ADPCM sample sound very close to +PCM SFX #10 you can listen the wave file:

but this sample is minimized for the PSG/FM these are activated at the same time I think could be good idea to not include it what do you think?
do you wanna try by yourself here is the link.
Could be port to. Music module?

Already done what I need now is a new set of samples to replace the original. because the originals samples use a proprietary compression.
I'd actually prefer the original samples. Can't they be resampled? Or maybe someone will find the correct algorithm to convert the original samples?

not me I'm tired to try to understand it without success. here's my findings
Here it is. Pleasure Hearts Airbuster Edition 190726
SFX CODE (ADPCM SAMPLES) USED are 0x28(Big Explosion mostly used all the time),0x01 (HERO SHIP FIRE for Weapon 1 and 2) ,0x07 (Weapon3)
still missing some SFX samples and JAPANESE VOICES CONVERSATION I don't know how to get it maybe Takamichi can help us to find a similar voices from any game available?
The Next version will need Music Module with 256KB SAMPLE RAM and I'm thinking to add a second Music Module for more rich playback of the SFX ADPCM Samples one Y8950-ADPCM ENGINE just for the HERO SHIP FIRE and the second Music Module for all the rest of the SFX. What do you think?
P.S: All the samples are played at 16Khz for more rich quality on MSX with Y8950-ENGINE Tested Real Devices still NONE. Everything is developed using OpenMSX (DEBUG MODE) and BlueMSX Emulators.
