Ok so both Pictures & Words and Believe it or not were already in the DB, so I deleted the duplicates.

Not sure why your referring to the Arabic Wikipedia for Top Gun. I don't see any reference to MSX on the page.

Yes but the title is identical to that movie on the spine of box. The game was clearly sold as a derivative of the movie.

What it says is that there was a popular movie in the cinema, and they quickly jumped to try to make some money from it based on name recognition. Most likely they took an existing title, possibly hacked its title screen, and released it as a ROM. I doubt they contacted Paramount for publishing rights.

There is some speculation that it may be Casio's Eagle Fighter under the covers. But until someone gets hold of it or posts some screenshots, I guess we will not know.

I'm also guessing shwaikh probably did not win the auction as there was no further update.
