Hi there
Is there any difference between the Japanese and the European versions of F1 Spirit besides the box?
I think the game is exactly the same (English in both cases) but not sure. How about the physical cartridge itself? Any differences?
Thanks

... fantastic game! I learned all race tracks and I still know them today, despite not being a big race fan :-)

Ps. In Japan there was also a bit more advanced version called "A1 Spirit"... It is practically same game, but it has few extra rocket cars added to it... It was sold only with a special controller, so it doesn't really have own box.

@NYYRIKKI: And it lacks a manual. I guess konami thought the game to be self-explanatory Smile

What a pity. Especially the manual was very lovingly designed with many practical tips. At the time, I was taking my driving school exam and benefited a lot from the advice.
Thanks to f1 Spirit I had made all the streets in the neighbourhood unsafe in the following years.

Now I am wondering, what you did learn from the game to use in real life Smile

Oh really, I didn't know that. I happen to know someone who owns the game + stearing wheel in a box but can't remember seeing (or hearing about) a manual. Does it differ from the F1 spirit manual ?
