All
Based on what I have seen and my guesses on the order of releases, It seems to me that Konami in Japan had 4 different boxes they used for their releases:
- Initial releases were in the small, orange box like the Antartic Adventure below. Early ones had a number stamped on them but later ones did not (example is Super Cobra or Time Pilot)
- The next round came in also small boxes but these were a mix of orange and other colors, usually with a large picture in the front. Example below is King's Valley, but you can also see this design on Ping Pong, Hyper Rally, etc)
- Next came the white boxes with details on varied colors. Example below is Goonies but you can also see that design on games like Twin Bee, Knightmare, etc. Also, a few games came in multiple designs. Hyper Rally has this type of box too.
- Finally, they used the big plastic boxes like the Vampire Killer below.

Does this sound right to you? Did I miss anything? It would be interesting to have a list of all Konami games and which boxes they used. I did not find a list like that during my research.

And in Europe, some of their games that were originally released in Japan with the first style of packaging were released with the second style. Same with how some second style package games in Japan were released with the third style in Europe.

These ones originally had the first style of packaging in Japan, but had the second style in Europe:
Super Cobra
Time Pilot
Video Hustler
Antarctic Adventure
Athletic Land
Monkey Academic
Hyper Olympic 1
Hyper Olympic 2
Comic Bakery
Hyper Sports 1
Circus Charlie

Frogger and Konami's Mahjong Dojo were never released in Europe.

These ones originally had the second style of packaging in Japan, but had the third style in Europe:
Hyper Rally
Hyper Sports 3

Cabbage Patch Kids, Magical Tree, Konami's Baseball, and Pippols were never released in Europe.

1 - Antarctic Adventure
2 - Athletic Land
3 - Monkey Academy
4 - (Cannot find this info anywhere - anyone knows???)
5 - Comic Bakery
