I've just updated the MSXdev'05 status page with the first Karoshi Corp entry, including also some screenshots of our game and of Zambeze. There is also a link to the blog of the programmer of Jack Exploring II, with some screenshots of his own project.

Check it all here: http://www.robsy.net/status05.htm

Edward Robsy

BTW, there are snapshots of the jack2 explorer on the blog also.

Yes, I have seen them and the game looks promising. The captures belong to an old version, but the new JACK EXPLORING II is going to be cool. The original JACK EXPLORING was published in a well known spanish magazine, as a BASIC program. Excellent too!

The remake of the Peach Up game looks nice too, but I can't help wondering what an MSX1 version will add to the already existing MSX2 version Smile

New levels Smile I think level-design for that game may be even harder then coding the game Smile Smile Smile

I think level-design for those games should be in reversed order ... so in an editor you start in a field full of walls, and you're essentially walking backwards while leaving behind items and a path.

I'm agree with that, Wolf_, but you must check every posibility on the way not to create accidentally an easy alternate path...
