These are JPG's!!!!

Get rid of them NOW! JPG's are unsuitable to computer graphics.

Take the original files (Not the JPG's!) and save them as PNG. The files will probably become smaller, and for sure a lot more beautiful and detailed!

The broken links are because it's hosted at Geocities, which has a strict bandwidth limit. Just wait a few hours and try again.

i disagree with PNGs. GIFs are better and smaller for screenshots of videogames

In my experience, PNGs are often smaller, and they support more than 256 colors. Also, PNG is patent-free, while GIF contains the patented LZW compression.

But you are right that GIF is also suitable for low-color computer graphics.

i agree with PNGs only when we need more than 256 colors
