hello

i tried to load a game from cassette and i have to write run"cas:"
but how do i get the inverted commas?
i've tried shift and the inverted comma sign but nothing happend
does anybody know how to write these commas

you means, you needs to write run"cas:",r

it is a normal comma, there is not things like inverted comma in MSX (iirc).

Maybe you are looking at a magazine or cassete label typed in a mechanical-write-machine that has a bad typo style.

no, run"cas:",r is nonsense. run"cas:" already runs the first ascii-basic file from tape (load and run), no need to add another ,r.

Does pressing the 2 key work? If not it's broken. If it does, one of your shift keys might. Try the other shift key instead (omg)

What kind of msx do you have? Philips keyboard can be cleaned easily. Sony keyboards are a bit more tricky.
