Hi All,

I am using OpenMSX on ChromeOs using my linux container. I want to access the console in OpenMSX but can't seem to do it with f10 (possible keymapping issue) Are there other ways to access the console? Curious if anyone has experience with this.

Thanks!
Bastiaan

Apologies for hijacking this post, but since the topic came up, I have noticed that the OpenMSX manual keeps saying to use F10 to open the console. However, that is not the case in all target OSs. For example, it is "CMD+L" in Mac. Might be nice to update that doc to reflect this. Also, about the original question, is it also F10 in Linux to open the console?

After some endless keypressing it seems that [SEARCH]+[VOL UP] acts as F10 - at least for meSmile So on Linux it is also F10.

Oh solved Smile I just wrote the following: You could try to manually set an alternative key binding:

  1. locate settings.xml;
  2. add a 'bindings' section with your key mapping, e.g.
    <bindings>
        <bind key="keyb F1">toggle console</bind>
    </bindings>

I think the manual has additional column macOS, right?
