My Yashica YC-64 (MSX1) (RGB version) shows text and graphics completely shifted to the left side of the screen.
I would be really grateful for any advice.

First things first: Are you sure that it is your MSX that is causing that problem?

I just ask because it is typical to find out later that people are not even using a proper TV/Monitor, but think they can just happily plug the cables directly to 30-years more modern digital flat screen and get a problem free picture. (They are wrong... each time... Some times more and some times less.)

Usual when using RGB output. The same for me, have to set the "SET ADJUST" (think only available on MSX2 or greater) to max right to be centered. When using composite is much more centered.

I get the same issues with my RGB MSX images on a flat screen if I just use SCART. I use a cheap SCART to HDMI connector and that fixes the issue.

Yeah, cheap-o / modern flat-panel TVs and RGB SCART -> image is shifted to the left. I think on my TV it was way worse with 50Hz RGB than 60Hz RGB (don't have a TV anymore, only VGA CRT, more modern computer monitors and a projector). Curiously, my projector has no such issues (sync separator + sync signal leveled up to VGA)!
