Now i managed to find cassette cable and working cassette player. It seems Thunder game is not using vhd basic.

Possibly there are routines in the ROM that can be called by a binary program.

Yes you can use tape2cas. Best to dump both sides and compare the results. Oh and sometimes you need to do a raw dump.

tape2cas created same file size (22 950 bytes) and content for both sides, so shuold i expect it to have read the data correctly?

Same error screen "VHD PLAYER ERROR" appear even when c9d card is inserted.
By the way, how can i extract the basic file and the binary file out from this cas file?

Yes, also you can try loading the CAS file in openMSX. If you open the file in a Hex Editor you will see the lead in and names. The actual data is after it. Here is a thread explaining the format.

I opened the file in openmsx with nms8250 profile, but it give flashing effect same as when tried to run the cassette in real toshiba hx20. So it needs to have those superimpose commands in i/o space
/rom.
