How could it be that i sometimes loose the configuration for extended mouse mode ?
Then i have to use the Mousekey trick to set it to that mode again. Is this related to the chinees nano i have ?

Might be... Try another memory address, if that would help.

i reloaded the mouse program on the chip again and now it seems to work fine. But it was difficult to remember everything. One problem is that the new serial drivers detect your nano chip is a chinees one. And because of that you cannot flash the thing anymore. So it took me some time but i found out that i had to do some steps describes in the link:

I had exactly this driver problem. (Not the first steps about the hardware ID but the last step to remove the windows based driver) Windows update installs a driver automaticly

ok thankyou! so ps2/msx works, but does usb/msx mouse with arduino clone v.3 work?
wich version of arduino clone i have to buy and where? (in other words, is the software to manage firmware in bundle with clone too?)

I got some real msx mouses 'spare' but the msx mouse to ps2 adapter should be availlable on ebay.co.uk!

It does not matter much what clone you select. I personally like Arduino Nano V3 because it is small and it has USB on board. There are multiple clones of that as well, but practically it only affects what driver you need to install to your PC... Not important, they are all fine, but as you can see from previous posts FTDI has done some ugly tricks. From eBay you should find one for a reasonable price.
