The adapter board is now secured with the special holders onto the motherboard. Now the FMPAC and port F4 can be installed. Both seem to work fine, just need to connect it properly to the internal amplifier.

Thanks! Still, some people are unhappy that Z80 is used via 3 sockets. One way to resolve this could be soldering Z80 onto the FMPAC board.

I think some people are just unhappy. Which is too bad for them (seriously cheer up Wink).
It will of course have no effect on operation really... I am mighty jealous of that beautiful machine though...

The boards have arrived. Still missing a few components to start assembling, but they will be soon arriving from China.

A few boards will be for sale to upgrade the YIS805 and similar models.

The board has been assembled and is being tested now:

The output from RGB, Composite and S-Video is nice, but there are some issues with PAL mode. I suspect that the chip is a Chinese-made bootleg and it's locked in NTSC mode. So I need another one.
