Hi,
I modified a 128kB cartridge for a 27c040 eprom where I can store 4 x 128k games and select the games with dip-switches.
For the mapper I use a GAL and programmed the logic for konami, konami scc and ascii8 - selectable with dip-switches.

I tried some konami8 games - all worked great.
But I also burned konami scc-games (kings valley 2, nemesis 2, salamander) and they runs also in konami8 but not in konami scc mapping selected???
Than I tried 3 ascii8 games (Ashguine, Super Runner, Valis) and nothing runs?

I used the logic schematics from Hans O's site (jipe) and veriefied my GAL-logics - it should work...

Any ideas?

The mapper register is a 74ls670. The GAL is only the logic before the register!

Hi Jipe, I asked me how the real cartridges init them self.
I tried to reset bank 0 = page 0 of eprom at power on with a key (to a GAL input) till the game starts - and that works for Ashguine (ascii-mapper)!!!
Now I tried some scc-games and they starts with scc-mapper with the key pressed - but they stopped when I release the key!

The solution is so easy: All games I tested wants Bank 0 = page 0 of eprom like in the konami8-mapper.
Than I changed that in my GAL for all mappers: Bank0 = page 0 of eprom (A13 & A15 low disables register read).

Now all games are runnig ;-)
